Refuse is collected every Friday morning starting at 8 am.

•  Garbage must be in clear transparent bags.
• Two (2) privacy bags are allowed per transparent bag.
• Limit of 5 bags per household.

** If you require more than 5 bags, contact the Town of Buchans, at 709-672-3972. Stickers may be purchased at the Town Office at a per bag user fee. **

Recyclables is collected ever second Wednesday morning starting at 8am

• Not including glass
• Recyclables must be clean and NOT contain any land fill garbage. It will be at the discretion of the staff for pick up
• Blue transparent bags are the only bags allowed for collection
• Limit of 5 bags per household.
